Conferences & forums
Conferences and forums.
The Queensland Fire and Biodiversity Consortium coordinates regular fire and biodiversity forums that are now open to the public.
National, regional and local researchers, land managers, fire fighting professionals and policy officers are invited to speak on a range of topics from policy implications for biodiversity conservation to fire mapping and the impacts of fire on native flora and fauna, amongst other. The forums and conferences also provide the opportunity for information exchange between land managers, policy officers, fire fighting professionals and researchers.
